SUMMER ID CAMP

CAMP DETAILS

The Summer ID Camp features training sessions run by a variety of college coaches, small-sided and 11-a-side matches and a Q&A session with the coaches about playing in college and the college recruiting process. Lunch is not included: players may bring a lunch or eat at Town Brookhaven, which is in walking distance from the field. Camp dates are June 3 and June 4, 2023 – choose either day or both!

Please note that camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and gender.

Team Discount  

Boys teams (of 10 or more players) can register now for our Winter ID Camps and receive a $20 discount per player. Please contact us at info@jonakinsoccer.com or (404) 487-8461 to set up your team registration and receive your discount code.

New! Get Your Game Film  

Given the uncertain amount of game time student athletes will have due to COVID-19, we are offering players film from the entirety of the camp’s scrimmages. Our basic package consists of an uncut wide shot of the OU soccer field, showcasing the games we play at the Fall ID Camp. Players may use this raw footage in their individual highlight reels. This additional service costs only $50 and may be purchased during registration.

If you would like an upgraded personalized video with highlights of your actions from camp, you can purchase that for an additional fee of $350. This service provides players with video from multiple angles and a video highlight reel that is ready to send to college coaches. Option available for purchase when registering.

9:00 am Camp check-in

9:30 am Camp introductions

9:45 am Rotating soccer training sessions with college coaches (includes three 40-minute practice sessions, each led by a different college coach)

12:00 pm Lunch

12:45 pm Discussion and Q&A Session with college coaches on college recruiting process and playing soccer in college

1:30 – 4:00 pm 11-a-side matches, including All Star match

4:00 pm Camp ends, coaches available for individual conversations

DIRECTIONS

Upon arriving at Oglethorpe University, drive straight back from the main entrance. On your left you will see the athletics parking lot. The Oglethorpe Men’s Soccer (turf) field is located toward the bottom left of the parking lot.

From I-285

Take exit 31-A, Peachtree Industrial Boulevard south. Head south on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard for approximately 4 miles. Oglethorpe University will be on your right.

From I-85

Take Exit 89, North Druid Hills Road. Head west approximately 2 miles to where North Druid Hills Road meets Peachtree Road. Be aware, North Druid Hills Road bears off to the right at the third traffic light. When you reach Peachtree Road, turn right and head north on Peachtree Road for 1 mile. Oglethorpe University will be on your left.

From GA-400

Take GA-400 to I-285 east. Go east on I-285 for one exit to exit 29, Ashford-Dunwoody Road. Turn right onto Ashford-Dunwoody Road, and continue until the road meets Peachtree Road. Turn right on Peachtree Road. Oglethorpe University will be one block ahead on your right.
